Interior Motives has chosen Berlin again to host the Interior Motives Europe Conference 2007

This German metropolis is one of the most influential centres in European culture and science. It serves as an important junction of continental transportation and is home to some of the world's most prominent universities, research faculties, and museums. Berlin is recognised for its diverse range of convention venues and media outlets.

The rapidly changing city enjoys an international reputation for its festivals, vibrant nightlife, contemporary architecture, and avantgarde arts. Being home to people from over 180 nations, Berlin is a magnet for individuals who are attracted by its liberal lifestyle, urban eclecticism, and artistic freedom.

The German capital boasts excellent conditions for designers and artists in all fields, including affordable office space, a high living standard at a low cost, 5,000 students in several excellent university-level design programmes and 1,300 studios. Considering these facts, it comes as no surprise that UNESCO recently named Berlin the first official "City of Design" in Europe.

Berlin, a perfect city for creative minds to be swept away by the vitality, uniqueness and tolerance of a region which is both old and young, and which has a character all of its own!
